Unless there are just really bad problems with the team (fighting, arrests etc) I just don't understand not wanting to see your team keep playing.

I'll gladly watch WSU in the CIT or whatever, if that's how it's supposed to be. I've seen a couple of comments from ISUB fans about shutting it down for the season....I just don't understand that kind of thinking.

UNI and ISU both will hopefully get in there. UNI with an RPI somewhere around 60 should look pretty good, and IllState with their conference showing, while their 104 RPI doesn't hurt them too bad. (Although those extra 4 RPI spots hurt WSU/Creighton and are the difference between an extra 5 top 100 wins between the two.)

Both teams deserve to be in it. Who knows if they will be.

Yes the comment about our teams winning with that schedule was a little snippy, but the point was it was a horrible schedule.

Drexel won the regular season of the CAA. They get an automatic bid to the NIT unless they get an at large to the NCAA.

Our beat writer came out with an article today. I guess our AD along with Elgin have been trying to plead our case for the NIT (along with UNI). Supposedly someone from the selection committee said our showcase on CBS put us in a good place for the NIT.
