Is Creighton doing anything special with the team for the selection show? WSU has announced they will have a watch party at Koch Arena with the fans and I would imagine that CBS will have a camera there.

Having a viewing party at Sokol arena. Not sure if CBS will be there or not...

I believe that is a new on campus arena that the Volleyball and WBB play at.

Supposed to get the word on whether CBS will be there late this week, which I suspect means today or tomorrow... CBS is probably waiting to see how things shake out in some of the other conf. tourneys before committing...

I think both will be around a 6 too. But I'm kind of fearful one of them will get screwed like UNI did a few years ago with their seeding (a 9 i think?).

Exactly. You should both prepared to be lower than you think. Also, not sure why everyone assumes WSU will be a better seed than CU based on the hard data.

Better SOS.
Better RPI.
Beating them by 21 in Omaha.
Better record versus the top 100 RPI.
Better ranking.
I believe every "expert" mock draft but one has WSU as the higher seed.

WSU isn't light years ahead of Creighton by any means, but the only "hard data" that Creighton wins on is top 50 RPI record. Every other piece of "hard data" puts WSU as a higher seed.

experts saying Shox get a 5 and Creighton 7 Hope their right!

bracket matrix has shox avg. of about 50 predictions at 4.9 and CU at 5.9 as of this morning. that said i think wsu gets 6 and cu gets 7. hope it is 5 and 6 respectively but not holding my breath

I think 6 and 7 are probably where they will end up, with worse case being WSU slipping to a 7 and CU dropping to a 9 like UNI a few years ago. Creighton's SOS may come back on them a little, I think WSU will hold up better, just don't see the committee giving any favors to non-BcS teams for seeding.

Another question, will WSU get a decent enough seed to earn a game in Omaha? And will Jays fans with tickets sell them to their MVC brethren for a premium, sell them to KU or KSU fans instead, or go to the games and cheer for....????

I seriously doubt that WSU will go to Omaha. KU and Mizzou should go there as they have the better seed. The only way they go there is if they slip to a 7-10 seed. Looks like most bracket experts either have them going to Portland, Nashville, or Albuquerque
