I don't know why but I always do that! Yes, Oregon. Prior to Oregon, he started at Chipola JC (as a freshman) where Clevin Hannah backed him up (as a sophomore).

Creighton will be picked to win it all, ILS should be picked 2nd, Indiana State 8th, Bradley 9th and SIU 10th.

The others I have no idea.

I'll go with Wufan's predictions.

I like ISUr to win it.

With Moore running the show, Brown from ouside, and Carmichael inside - gonna be a handful.

I like CU and ISUr to be battling for 1st and 2nd and UNI and Drake to be battling for 3rd and 4th. All 4 teams will be really good. To be honest, all 4 could finish anywhere from 1-4. With Rice, Simons and Van Deest I think Drake could really be a force next year and possibly a sleeper in the valley for a top finish.

I could see us in a situation where 4 are dancing next year if we don't have a crazy grind again. I also think we see some serious separation from the upper and lower half. WSU will be a wild card, but I think the top half will mostly win against the bottom. BU loses their best player and still rebuilding, SIU loses players and will be starting over, MSU loses their best player and will be building up. Indiana St. still has odum, but as pointed out lose some contributors.

Could be a very interesting year. We will have better all around bball being played by the top 4.

I think Bulldogs will be better at point guard than you realize.

Creighton #1, and IllState #2, for obvious reasons. There's no reason either team shouldn't be better than this year.

WSU and UNI battling for #3 and #4 after that. WSU loses four senior starters, but they will still have plenty of upper-classmen to fill in. EO will be a defensive monster, and Carl Hall will be very good on both sides. Not having an experienced PG will hurt, but they'll still have the talent and depth to be above the middle of the pack. UNI will be better than this year.

Drake, Evansville, MSU, and IndState fall in after that. Maybe in that order.

SIU and Bradley in the cellar.

I expect UNI to be very good, and compete for both a conference title and an NCAA tournament bid.

MVC should be a little bit better than it was this year, so hopefully we can get 3-4 bids.

That might be the case. Can you tell me why? I like to hear about fellow teams!

I see Ill State and CU as 1 and 2. With the order of those 2 being too close to call. I think CU may miss Young more than some think. Further advancement will depend on Doug's continued improvement.

Probably UNI as #3 for the reasons previously mentioned - young improving talent and coaching. If UE could score a decent post player I could see them at #3 too.

Possibly the rest of the Valley in a tangled mess just like this year? It will be really interesting to see how WSU does next year if Marshall stays.

The Bears? It's possible Gulley and Downing could really step up and propel us towards the top. But I'm afraid the lack of a true post player and experienced pg could mean another up and down season similar to this one with the Bears finishing somewhere in the middle of the MVC.
