Who in their right mind would go to Nebraska? I'm sure they will get another BCS re-tread or a non-BCS coach who's on the hot seat anyway. Maybe Jim Molinari would like another shot at the big time? Nevermind, Nebraska would never be confused as big time. What other re-treads are available?

Nebraska is a little more attractive job now that they are in the lucrative B10 conference, and I believe they are opening a brand new arena next year. Not necessarily a good job now, but I think it has potential.

Nebraska basketball job is career suicide. Basketball is about fourth or fifth on the totem poll there. Football, Spring Football, Football recruiting, volleyball, baseball, gymnastics....They have never won a NCAA tourney game being one of three BCS programs that have done that. South Florida and Northwestern are the other two. Those two could make the tourney (S. Florida more likely) Any coach that takes that job is just after the money.

Not as far-fetched as would seem on first blush. Altman has to have all the dough he really needs so Knight money may not stand up to being able to play in front of his dad and the folks of Wilber, NE every home night.

If he does that I will disown him.

I'm thinkin Lowery. He's got enough money and can reorganize without much pressure. It'll be a dream job for him and a nightmare for Nebraska :dance:
