No defensive stops for either team. Shot 60% from the field and lost. The announcers and they are homers said the OVC officials were horrible. 2 technicals in the first half for talking with the ref One on both side so it was even. Hope these next 250 days are fill with great things because we are done for the Season. If you think that CU and IL St are the 2 to beat next year, you have turned a blind eye to the east.

Thanks for the great Year ACES. We'll miss Holmes, Harris and Peeler Congrats UE on a great Year

Would have been nice to get the win tonight and have a chance to advance. Feel bad for Denver and Kenny as they were in foul trouble most of the night. Wish they could have gone out on a higher note.

Would have been nice to get another game, with the announcement of a new practice facility coming tomorrow, to continue the good news. Glad to see this upgrade is in the works and will become official, it can only be a benefit for the programs, both men and women.

Absolutely worst-officiated game I have seen all year! Fouls left uncalled against Princeton players...phantom fouls on Aces. 27 lead changes....both teams shot the lights out...UE, again was undersized and with us having no true center it was impossible to guard against lay-ups underneath and outside shooting of the 3. Still, we were neck and neck until the last couple of minutes. Game was much closer than final score suggests.

I am proud of the Aces....hard-working, over-achieving....and fun to watch. If we can get that center...and our recruits are as good on the college court as they look playing high school ball, then we will be very competitive next year. You can bet that Marty will be pushing the guys for a top-conference finish. The fan base is expectant of a great year, so don't count us out, MVC!

The fouls were about even, UE 17 including those at end of game, Princeton 14. Holmes got his usual reach and grab fouls. An example was when a big man was going in for a layup and Holmes pushed him with his forearm in the middle of the back to cause a miss. This was not bad officiating but stupid defense. I'm sure Denver would agree. Harris was battling his usual size deficiency going against 6-8 to 6-11 players who out weighed him by 40-60 pounds.

I'm not saying they were good officials. HDnet reported them as being from the Ohio Valley Conference and I have NEVER been a fan of those refs, but the game was not called one sided.

Yes, 71, the game wasn't lost by the refs, it was lost by a non existent defense. The Aces allowed their last two opponents to score more than 90 points each. Won't win many games doing that.

This pretty much sums up the Aces this year...and will next year if they don't find a true big. Even now Sawvel is hearing whispers, "you know what you could do in program XYZ as a small forward..."

The whispers much be in your dreams, based on the interaction I had with his parents and him at the tournament. Good sarcasm.............

I will hold judgement out on E-ville until I see how they fair without Denver and Kenny next year.

Kenny will be missed more than we know. Think Aaron Carter of ISUb from last year.
