Air travel:

I hope the Blue Birds will be on charters. Otherwise, the air travel will get pretty tiresome.

Road games on Tuesday and another on Saturday. How is that gonna work out? I must admit that I am a pessimist about this kind of thing.

The A-10 is a much bigger stage.

I do believe CU charters like Wichita, I could be wrong but I pretty sure they do.

The MVC hasn't been bad but I think the time for improvement for the MVC has passed. SLU isn't coming, Butler is now gone to the A-10. Where else can the MVC improve??? If Milwaukee, Oral Roberts, Murray State or Cleveland State are our best options for improvement, it's time to look elsewhere if possible....

In what way? What do you have to support this stance?

Perhaps the fact that Philadelphia, Washington DC, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati among others have a helluva lot more people than Cedar Falls, Terre Haute, Evansville and Carbondale????

(By the way, I don't necessarily agree with the "we'll be sprinting" line)

Creighton will not be "sprinting" out the door.

The Valley has been very good for Creighton and Creighton has been very good for the Valley.

But you never say "never" about change.

So? Do those cities a) care about the tiny A-10 schools that reside in those cities?, and b) do they have the television/media exposure that provides you with the benefits of those large populations?

The answer is no. Its one thing if you are going out East and playing Pittsburgh, Villanova, and Georgetown. But that would not be the case.
