They have played next to no one and have an RPI near 100 seems to me benefit of weak schedule.

beatingirls, you never have a single shred of good to say about anything related to ISU, so your comment here doesn't surprise me one iota. in reality I don't think you say much positive about anything.

You're a sad person, I really feel sorry for you.

and on a baseball related note, Indiana State did beat Missouri today 15-1, will be curious to see your spin on that beatingirls.....

The overall SOS for the conference is very bad, don't anyone get to excited yet.

ISUB- 225 (2-3 vs Top 50)
ISUR - 177 (0-1 top 50)
MSU - 134 (0-1 top 50)
EU - 233 (0-0 Top 50)
BU - 180 (0-2 top 50)
CU - 217 (0-0 Top 50)
SIU - 175 (0-0 Top 50)
WSU - 22 (3-8 Top 50)

Five wins vs. 15 losses to the top 50?

Average of 173 on strength of schedule?

With those numbers, once again, this conference sucks big time can you say "one bid again this year".

Well, the Missouri Valley is rated as the 7th best conference in the country currently.

Missouri State is rated 35th and easily in that at-large area. They are 0-1 against the top-50, but are beating the teams they're supposed to and winning top-100 games.

The schedule has been pretty easy for most teams, but they're winning the games on that schedule, and if they can get to conference play with that 7th or 8th position, they'll be in good shape to get Missouri State in regardless and perhaps another surprise team.

If your hoping a MSU fan cares at all what the Sycs did to MU you are seriously confused, congrats on the win but they aren't even top 100. The Sycs may have a quality team, they should finish in the 4th to 5th range.

Illinois State won a wild one on Tuesday. Illinois (11-10) came to Normal and scored 5 runs in the first and 2 more in the 3rd.

The Redbirds (16-6) then scored 16 unanswered runs for a 16-7 win!

Shox continue the slide into the abyss, lost two of three to Long Beach State last weekend, split mid-week with South Alabama.

SIU in this weekend for three.

If the Shox are .500 this year it would be a great surprise.

We better make sure the Valley doesn't fall further. Now down to 8th (.5310) and only .0048 separates us from 10th (.5262) and 12th (.5225) is less than .009 away

The Bears really need 2 out of 3 or a sweep of DBU this weekend.

This Shocker baseball team really sucks four hits over ten innings scoring the winning run on a wild pitch.

Look on the bright side at least the sCUmm are 0-4 in the league
