MVC/MWC Challenge

It's official. Redbirds get Wyoming at home next year. (so much for hoping we get Nevada) Jank has his work cut out for him with scheduling next year. So far we got...

South Padre (2 of Navy, Farleigh Dick and 2TBAs at home; 2 of UAB, TCU and Northwestern on neutral)
vs. Western Michigan (return BB)
vs. Wyoming (Challenge)
@ Bracketbuster

He better deliver some teams and not screw this up. This might be our best team in the last 15 years.

Got a bit unlucky with the South Padre field. Northwestern will be down without Shurna, UAB will have a first year coach and TCU just isn't very good, plus will have a new coach as well.

We also somewhat got screwed with the Wyoming draw. We played at Fresno St. this year for their opener to guarantee a home game in the challenge for next year. We are supposedly looking for about 6 more games to complete the schedule.

To make this really work, they should hold off on setting the games until this time of year rather than having done so months ago so the best games could be arranged. And it doesn't really make sense to prohibit teams that played already from playing again. Anyone know which MVC teams are sitting out this year?

He's not had a team like this one for 2012/13 though has he? That might make all the difference when you've got the players to play with the big boys.

28-5 will look better than 25-8 to whatever school he wants to jump to.
