I complement when it is warranted and question when it is warranted. I've also criticized Creighton plenty (my comments about Antoine Young are a prime example).

I find it ironic to hear a UNi fan accuse someone else of being insecure. Did you even bother to read the original post that my comments were about? That is the pinnacle of insecurity.

What about when MVJohn joked about all of the UNi players tats and the UNI fanbase went ballistic?

What I've learned since UNI's co-conference title a few year's back is that many (BUT CERTAINLY NOT ALL) UNI posters on this site are the most insecure of all of the MVC fanbases. A single comment or criticism leads to a complete circle the wagons, epic meltdown. You aren't allowed to ask any question with respect to UNI; iIts trolling if you do. UNI fans will even go so far as to argue about attendance figures, even though they are printed facts. I've even seen UNI posters contend that there are no financial issues at UNI whatsoever, even after there have been tons of newspaper stories saying just the opposite. Of course, then there is the infamous post where a certain UNI poster, who was backed up by many other UNI posters, claimed that UNI has to face obstacles in developing/maintaining a fanbase that other MVC schools just don't have to face. I think many UNi fans truly believe this and maybe that fuels this deep seated insecurity. There is a strange sort of denial of reality that takes place among a large core of the UNI fans here that is unique to all of the MVC fanbases.

I shouldn't be surprised with the animosity CU fans display toward UNI. We are really everything they have wanted to be the past 5-7 years. It started with the back to back conference titles along with consecutive trips to the tournament and continued with our run to the S-16. This period capped a seven year stretch that included five tourney appearances for the Panthers.

All of a sudden CU fans started watching us win recruiting battles against players like Bohannan and Tuttle. They were starting to notice a shift in the conference hierarchy and began to get a little worried.

I know, I know, the Bluejays are just coming off their most successful season in over a decade, but let's be completely honest, the ONLY reasons the past two years have not continued on the above path is because CU received a nice gift wrapped package from UNI in 2010. Inside was an All American and 1st round NBA draft pick. Without our AD's generosity, CU would be looking at 6 year tourney drought and counting.

If he doesn't go to Iowa State it will be a huge surprise. A lot of people think it was arranged before he asked for the transfer.

Hoping he would go to CU but always had the feeling he had BCSitis. He did when we recruited him out of high school and looks like he still does...oh well.
