(volleyball) With the Creighton loss and the UNI victory over Bradley, the Panthers clinched a top 2 seed for the conference tourney (which means not having to play on Thursday).

Erin Gunther converted a penalty kick at 97:51 and the Bluejays beat Missouri State, 2-1, in the title match of the State Farm MVC Tournament. Erin Cingoranelli of Creighton was named tournament MVP after scoring once with three assists in the Bluejays' two wins. We're in the NCAAs with an at large for sure, right?

Pretty much.

Couple years ago we got an at-large as an unranked team, and we are #13 in the nation right now.

The pressing question is will the NCAA let UNI host a volleyball 1st/2nd round this year? It would be a shame if they don't. I think they will, the only concern is having so many other schools in the area like Iowa State, Minnesota, Illinois, and Nebraska as likely host sites.

Bears #32
Jays n Drake in Top 50, Valley's gotta get at least 2 teams in, maybe 4.
