Offseason - Braves

Nothing breaking at this point. The outlook is cautiously optimistic, with a hint of last-place sprinkled on top for most BU fans.

Our team loses TB and Stix, so our 4 post guys (Pross, Egolf, Pickett (JC), Wells (Redshirt-FR) will need to step up next year. We are still without an outside threat, and no added scoring punch on the perimeter on the horizon.

Hopefully the pressure on Lemon Jr. to be the main PG will lessen with newcomer Ka'Darryl Bell.

We have 2 open schollies to fill as of today...

I agree - It looks to be another rough year with no proven outside shooters or rebounding returning.

It's all about recruiting right now. They need to fill these two open spots with quality guys and have a big summer with the four available scholarships after that.

Only 1 schollie available now it appears.
A transfer PG from Wake who is super-quick & a pass first PG.
He will have to sit out a year, but Braves fans are pretty excited about the pickup.

Look for Geno & staff to work hatd this off-season to implement a blueprint for success with what we've got.
Heard our 2 other newcomers are not soft like the majority of current team.

Bradley double dipped in the transfer route this spring and landed Omari Grier from Florida Atlantic. 6'4" shooting guard. He'll have three years left after sitting out next year.

Too bad we don't have Omari for this next season. He seems like a nice 3-pt. shooter on a team deplete of outside shooters. BU needs to play BIG (more of an inside game) to have success in 2012-'13.
Prosser (JR), Egolf (SR), Pickett (JUCO JR), and Wells (redshirt FR) need to step it up.
At least on paper, we have more depth (barring injury) in the frontcourt than we've had in about 5 seasons.
