Shox win series from Dallas Baptist

Game 1 in Wichita was simply a shellacking. The bats came early and often for Gene's crew as they pull off a major upset over the Patriots, 13-2.

Game 2 was a nail-biter, with the Shox claiming the early 6-3 lead. The Pats fought back against Shocker ace closer Cale Elam to take a 7-6 lead in the 9th. But the over-matched Shockers weren't done. They scraped together some runners and a big hit from Johnny Coy to win it walk-off style, 8-7.

DBU's offensive numbers are impressive but it's been the Shockers lighting up their pitching staff.

Shox take the first two, friday night 13-3, sat 8-7 after giving up four in the top of the 9th to DBU.

DBU has requested that the Shocker Golden girls not work their side of the field.

I guess there will be no dancing after the games either, kind of like the Taliban of Texas.
