Wow, must've been some real drama here. Makes you wonder if Judson got jobbed (no pun intended).

I am excited about this hire. I think Muller is going to do a fantastic job at keeping this train moving. It will be interesting to see what happens now with the assistants and current players.

So far.....

-Judson was offered a position on new staff, regardless of outcome. He said he would assess the opportunity if he doesn't get the head coaching job. Judson recruited Moore and incomer Simpson.
-Other assistants are up in the air, but if Beane Sr. is gone, you can bet Beane Jr. will ask for release.
-Simpson seemed initially upset via twitter when Jank announced he was gone.
-Hearing that the players really were hoping Judson would have been the hire. Hopefully they give Muller a chance.
-Rumor is that Nic Moore's handlers are taking calls.
-ISU is at the scholarship limit assuming Bryant Allen does not get a scholarship next season. (its possible he could have been promised one from the Jank staff). Trey Blue and Darious Clark are not returning next year.

Love this hire.

Muller was one of all time my favorite Redbirds. He brings a defensive intensity, he's young, and he has off-the-charts intelligence. Great hire!
