Shox gone too, shut out 7-0. That's only the 3rd time in 35 years in which the Shox have gone 2 & Q in this tourney. Definitely the worst team of the modern era.

So the countdown begins. No other fanbase would put up with the ridiculously embarassing performance that the Shockers have displayed this season. Will Gene be fired tomorrow or will the AD wait until after they are left out of the NCAA Regionals?

The #1 and #3 seeds both go 0-2. Hard to imagine both getting into the NCAA tournament. Could argue that neither will get in too. About as disastrous a start to the tournament as the MVC could have imagined.
