Missouri State has never been to the College World Series, Southwest Missouri State was there in 2003 though.

Oh yeah, I forgot, those are totally different schools. No school in Division I has ever changed its name before. I seem to recall the University of Memphis removing all Memphis State banners from the FedEx Forum, since they are different schools.

Good luck to all. Wish they were on TV so I could cheer along.

MSU had a golden opportunity to put their game away. With the game tied 1-1 in the top of the 8th, MSU loaded the bases with no outs. UCF then got a force out at home, a pop-up to shallow left field and a routine grounder to second to get out of the inning unscathed. Tough luck for sure.

Then, to make matters worse, UCF plates a runner in the bottom of the 8th to go ahead 2-1 headed into the 9th.

Here's a link to gametracker in case anybody wants to watch the 9th: http://www.cstv.com/gametracker/launch/ ... nt=1117197

Bears have stranded so many runners on base. Lightning delay currently.

Also, Indiana State now underway.

Frustrating game. Bears had them right where they wanted them in the 8th and just couldn't execute. We will want Stony Brook to beat Miami now so that we can get rid of the Canes with Johnson. Stinks to lose a Petree start.

SBU up 2-0 on Miami in the third. Good news so far. Keep it going Seawolves? or whatever.

Missouri St should have won, plain and simple. Indiana State had UCF right where they wanted them when they tied the game up, but couldn't break through. Hopefully, Creighton can get the Valley a win tonight.
