So, what you are saying is, that it took roughly 10 minutes for Dan Muller to compile a schedule, in his first year, that laps any schedule that Jank put together in his entire tenure?

haha. pretty much. We should have one more game to go before the schedule is complete, but holy crap is this going to be a tough schedule. It will be interesting to see what the SOS is.

Awesome! So true.

Jank got what he wanted...an inflated won/loss record, due to pathetic scheduling, that got him a job at the "next level"; if you can call it that. It's clear now that was his intention all along; well that and using ISU's coffers to recruit players for SMU.

Good schedule, not too difficult for a young team. If WSU finishes the non-con w/1 or 2 losses, that will be a great result. @Tennessee and @VCU will be the biggest tests.

Might be difficult to get an at large with that lineup. Probably need Iowa and Depaul to be a lot better than last year. A win against VCU would be very nice as they should be a top 25 caliber team this year.

Southern Mississippi finished around 25th in the RPI and was an at-large team last year. They will be a good game, but there does seem to be quite a few clunkers in that schedule.

Pretty sure the Redbird schedule is complete unless there is some random game we are not hearing about. With this list, I believe we technically could have one more.

2012-13
Quincy (Exh.) Nov. 5th
Lewis University (Exh.) TBA
UCSB Nov. 12th
@Drexel Nov. 15th
South Padre Invite (2 of Farleigh Dickinson, Navy, Delaware St., Prairie View A&M) Nov. 18-21??? TBA
South Padre Invite (2 of TCU, UAB, Northwestern) Nov. 23, 24
@Louisville Dec. 1st
Wyoming (MWC/MVC Challenge) Dec. 4th
Western Michigan (Return Bracketbuster) TBA
@Dayton Dec. 19th
Austin Peay Dec. 22nd
@Bracketbuster Feb.

....what a difference a new coach makes. I think this is direct proof that Jank had the ability to get this sort of schedule, but refused to. I hope he enjoys watching Larry Brown fail at SMU and once it becomes time for him to retire, do you really think the fans/university will want more of the same failed experiment from their "coach in waiting." I don't think they will have the patience after seeing how the AD got fired after the Brown hire.
