Northern Iowa at Wisconsin on 9/1 - Big Ten Network

UNI goes to Madison to play Top 10 Wisconsin. Should be great and it's on Big Ten Network. Any chance of a monumental upset?

Missouri State also at K-State but I don't think they have an chance at all.

Probably not much of a chance for an upset. UNI should be pretty good, as always, but Wisconsin is an elite BCS team right now. If you look at their scores the last couple years, they are beating some good FBS teams by 30 points.

Better chance for UNI to pull off a big upset in a couple weeks at Iowa.

If UNI sweeps both Big Ten teams and they go on to win their divisions, they should cancel the conference championship game in Indy and send the Stagg Trophy to Cedar Falls.

This was a great game. Would have been on par with our win over KU in the NCAA tourney.

Tell me which UNI moral victory tasted sweeter: Wiscy this year, Iowa State last year, or Iowa in 2009? I'm just giving you all a hard time. Sort of. It just amazes me to see all the high fives and excitement in Panther Nation after a loss. Herm Edwards needs to start giving pep talks to your fans I think. Haha.

Are you kidding me? UNI plays to win EVERY time they step on the field, and that is precisely why they have come close to beating ranked BCS teams like Iowa and Wisconsin, and have beaten other FBS schools like Iowa State and K-State.

I'd say a game in which you were supposed to lose by 40+ points and you have the ball with a chance to win in the 4th quarter on the road against the top 15 ranked B10 champs is a pretty solid moral victory for an FCS team playing with 22 less scholarships. UNI fans are happy with the good showing, and rightfully so. You'd be one of the first people to come on here and beat your chest if MSU came within a few points of beating Mizzou or whatever.
