The Frosh need this year with Colt on the floor so they can adjust to D1 basketball.

Next year, both groups should be prepared to handle more of the scoring load.

Are you new to basketball?

We have been hearing this for two years now how Evansville is getting better recruits...where are the results when Colt 45 goes out for the game? WSU loses 4 starters from last years team 80% of there scoring...why can they maintain? I'm tired of the excuses from Evansville and promises of players...either produce or find the Horizon or Summit!
The Shockers gleefully ran off the Aces' court last year with a one possession win. We will consider the Horizon or Summit when you pound us on our own court and when you win the conference tournament ;)
Promise? That may get WSU the motivation to just do both and I bet the other 8 members of the league would be behind WSU...what do you think?
I think you need to stop whining, blow your nose, take a deep breath, and worry about your own team ;)

If Evansville is that one-dimensional without Ryan, then you're probably correct in the fact that they probably won't do well in conference anyways.

"Tanking" occurs when the team or the competitor does it on purpose. Look up the definition. We live and die with Colt Ryan's play. It is what it is. We step on the floor and your coach has drawn up several defensive schemes to get the ball out of his hand or to stop him from scoring. We are a much weaker team without him.

So why do we keep hearing about all these recruits that are going to help Ryan? What are you going to do when he finally does graduate? Are you going to be even worse then the last couple of years? Do you really believe that Evansville belongs in this league and can compete? I just don't see how that is possible with the financial commitment from other schools in this league.

Why do I need to worry about my own team? We are on the verge of just reloading every year, pay our coach a salary to make it hard to leave. They are 3 - 0, NCAA tourney last year, Valley regular season champs, NIT champions the year before and 22 - 3 the last 25 road games. What has Evansville done in the last decade?

Wow Feel the fear about Colt and the Aces

Colt limped off the court 7 minutes into the game He apparently has a hip pointer whatever that is and recovery is one to six weeks.

You design an offense @ one or two key players and the design goes down then it takes a bit to reorganized. UE did that and has still been cold in shooting.

Good point are the 6'11 player play w/o fouling and had some great minutes Simmons had lineups out there I never thought he put on the floor at one time He was looking for some offense. UE played great defense all night but lost the game

Go Aces Next up Yale

I don't know if you are trying to be funny or cute, but neither is working. In all seriousnous, you must follow the team, how does Evansville fair without having Colt next year or if this is a serious injury.
