Thanks Hopefully he plays tomorrow When Buffalo made a run in the middle of the second half, he stood up, removed the icepacks, tuck in his shirt and nodded to Simmons. He sat the rest of the game. My guess is he is in an Ice tub now and for a few more minutes or hours.

Why do I need to worry about my own team? We are on the verge of just reloading every year, pay our coach a salary to make it hard to leave. They are 3 - 0, NCAA tourney last year, Valley regular season champs, NIT champions the year before and 22 - 3 the last 25 road games. What has Evansville done in the last decade?
Evansville is trying to become as good as WSU ;)
I don't know if you are trying to be funny or cute, but neither is working. In all seriousnous, you must follow the team, how does Evansville fair without having Colt next year or if this is a serious injury.
It may take a game or so, but They'll be ready for conference. The Aces have enough offense It is early in the season. Buffalo was a 20 win team last season. Not the cupcakes some of the conference teams are playing right now

Hopefully that is good news

Shocktheheart:

My son received a scholarship offer from WSU in 2000, after the Aces offered.

I live in Kansas.

I love the Shockers and respect the program.

I love my Aces.

We are the ugly sister who is trying to be as pretty as the big sisters (CU, WSU)

We do the best we can with what we got.

You can stomp your feet, yell, and be mad all day long, but we are part of the Valley.

They lost to Princenton at home by 4 and 27 at Florida State...not bad competition, but not great either.

I know your story...I thought your son was a good player, but I keep hearing all this that Marty is changing everything and nothing is changing. I really do believe that Evansville is "above their head" in the Valley.

We were 9-9 in Valley play last year. The next 2-3 years will indicate if our recruiting has come up to Valley standards. If so, we should continue to scare the hell out of the Shockers and Bluejays and Redbirds. If not, stomp us and make us go away. The only way we go away is if we cannot compete on the basketball floor. Last time I checked, MVC teams were not chalking up a "W" before the game. You guys forget that a basketball conference is comprised of upper tier, middle tier, and lower tier teams. Replace the three lower tier teams with middle tier teams and you will have 7 teams tied for third ;)

When was the last time Evansville beat WSU?
