Seriously? That's worse than the Evansville loss to Buffalo.

I'm not sure the Bears finish ahead of anyone...seriously.

Bad home loss. Proud of the way they came back and made it a game though. Our freshmen just haven't cut it these last 2 games and with all 6 of them in the rotation that just isn't going to work. We need them to grow up fast to have any hope of not finishing in the mvc cellar.

One small.positive is Pickins is sure showing an improved offensive game this year.

That would be soooo poetic. Go Barry.

By the way: MSU's RPI is currently lower than the Salukis at any point last season: they bottomed out at 342 after losing to West Michigan.

EDITED: As of RealTimeRPI's Mid-day public update, the Valley has 3 of the 5 lowest RPIs. MSU 341, Drake 344, So. Illinois 345. SIU is at the bottom because they're the only one of the 345 D1 teams yet to play a D1 game.

Very, very disappointing. This is not what I expected when we tabbed Paul Lusk as our head basketball coach.
Dorrian was out of his element. He should walk back to OKC for the holidays on I-44 for punishment. And the worst thing is that I don't see real glimmers of hope that make you think "Hey maybe we can really be something this year." My new goal for this team is to see growth by March. That we will be a better team then. Perhaps not finish in the cellar. Definitely a night for readjusting your goals.

I hate to single kids out, but we just don't belong right now. These kids need it to be made crystal clear that dogging it is not acceptable. Paul needs to get tough with them and needs to stop pampering them with his psychobabble that he continuosly spews. A few more nights like this and I'm going to close the door and focus just on the Lady Bears.

On the other hand I was impressed with Jack U. With Belmont out of the conference it would not stun me if they make some noise in the A-Sun.
