Final: 72-46

Mock, our Lithuanian, will be a force in his Jr and Sr years.

DJ Ballentine will be a scorer in his Jr and Sr years.

Moore is getting better and better.

Big man depth will hurt us.

I was concerned that he came back too early. But, he looked pretty good out there and now he has some confidence for the game on Saturday.

I watched some of Mock's highlight videos from his amateur days in Europe and was very impressed. I'm glad the skills are translating to the US. A big, agile 6-10 center will make any team better! If the 6-7, 240 lb kid (Moore?) can provide solid minutes at the 5 and 4 the Aces will be good!

For the most part, Jaylon Moore is being used as a backup to Mockevicius this year, with 6'8" Ryan Sawvell the regular power forward, backed up by 6'4" Lewis Jones. But, Marty has had some innovative lineups in there at times, including Colt Ryan at the 4.

Moore is coming along well. Last year he was tentative. This year he is more comfortable on the court and he plays aggressively, even when the opponent is bigger or quicker. I like his development.

Some teams can have an off night and win. We cannot. I like our guard play and I think our wings will be fine. However, will Mock stay out of foul trouble against MVC big men? Will Moore wear down halfway through the season? Will Jahr hit shots when Colt and DJ are cold? Will our PG be enough of an offensive threat to draw the defense?

I think we are better than last year if we stay healthy? Are we CU or ISU or WSU good AND deep? Not yet.

I love our Freshman big: Mock!

It's been amazing watching his progression (just from the exhibition games). He's going to be fun to watch!

He is about 4-5 games ahead of where I thought he would be. I fear that teams will go at him to get him into foul trouble and this is where he will have to learn how to defend without fouling, easier said then done.

I love having him on the team.
