#3 Michigan at Bradley

#3 Michigan travels to Bradley this Saturday. A couple quotes from John Beilein, Michigan coach, on BU:

“Bradley has a really talented, veteran team,” Beilein said Friday. “We really have our work cut out for us. It’s our first true road game. It’s very representative of what we’ll see in the Big Ten as far as a hostile home crowd and a talented team that’s 5-1.”

Beilein was so worried about the potentially deafening and raucous Carver Arena crowd that he was planning a practice simulation Friday with loud music blaring and team managers screaming as the coaches try to convey strategy in a huddle. “We really have to understand this team can play. We have to have the mindset of going to Michigan State or Ohio State.”

Vegas is giving Bradley 12.5 points, which I thought would be higher up and maybe in the 20s. I'm hoping this is at least a competitive game. A win would be huge for this team's confidence and huge for the Valley.

Good connections. Bradley's former director of basketball operations was Patrick Beilein, son of Michigan's head coach. The two schools negotiated a 1 for 1. Bradley lost at Ann Arbor last year by 11.
