Except for the last four minutes, it was a somewhat dominating performance against a decent team (maybe I am giving GW too much credit). Bradley needs to learn how to close out games better, but that is expected when you only win 7 games the previous year.

Jordan Prosser has had three solid games in a row. I think he scored 12 of the first 24 points for BU.

I'd add SIU to that group and I'm not sure I would include CU. Anyone who expected more out of SIU was nuts, and I'm not sure most would have expected CU to have a loss yet even though otherwise they are doing adequately. Unfortunately that doesn't say much for the league that 2 of the 3 teams exceeding expectations may be able to succeed in staying out of Thursday night.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

Bradley looked great in the first half last night. Jordan Prosser took it right to GW's big boys and did have 12 of the first 24 for Bradley. Bradley was killing GW's defense in the first half, so they switched to a 1-3-1 zone in the second half which Bradley struggled some against. It was a 10 point game most of the 2nd half, and then Bradley missed a bunch of free throws in the last 5 minutes which made the game closer than it should have been. GW never got closer than 4 though. Bradley finished 9-17 from the line on the night which will get you beat in a lot of games.

Bradley continues to impress and win the "toss-up" games on their schedule. They have really only looked bad in the loss at South Florida. Hopefully they can continue to build up some momentum for conference season. Geno definitely has Bradley moving in the right direction.

Bradley is much, much improved. Should be competitive in every single MVC game (except for maybe a couple of road games). Im not sure how many wins in the end but with improved toughness, defense and rebounding Bradley competes very well right now.

I know the competition hasn't been elite but a 6-2 record with two road wins is still impressive as Bradley goes into finals week.

I agree!

What will happen over at Bradleyfans if Ford has a good season. It has appeared as though Tornado and da Coach have been actively cheering for Ford to fail because of Les' firing....

Good to hear that our coach selection is winning the popular vote on this board! (at least I would think so)
It's apparent that our 3-point shooting is a downright shipwreck so we're really limiting the # of 3's in games, which I credit Geno with tayloring the gameplan to this team's strengths.
I thought the Braves would be 5-3 at this point, but I tend to be a little optimistic. 6-2 is probably beyond most BU fans' wild imagination!

I will check out the game replay tonight, but it sounds like we have played well in the majority of our games so far - the last 3 especially.

My hope is to continue to get better throughout the season and get more production from our bench (Shayok Shayok and Freshman K' Bell need to step it up) I would love for this team to get to .500 on the season.
If we get 9 non-conf. wins (which is quite doable), it means we need to win about 7 in the Valley to get there.

We have the capability to be a pretty good team actually if we had an outside game. We are playing team ball instead of a lot of 1-on-1 drive and shoot like last season. Nobody is concerned with their numbers - but just wins.
We should be better next year, but at least for now, I'm looking forward to the NEXT game THIS YEAR! And already DECEMBER and Braves fans still have HOPE!!! :-D

Only appearance...as I'm pretty sure both want success for BU no matter who is at the helm. They just have a soft spot for Coach Les, as others on BFans do. They also have an inside track on what's going on and why there has been fallout, though IMO it was necessary for the change and we will get fans back on board with more success.

I agree that the less 3 pointing shooting, the better for this roster. It's impressive that Bradley got to 72 points with only one made 3 pointer (1-7). Hopefully, it becomes a more balanced attack in the future, but right now the only chance Bradley has is to win the points in the paint.
