Do not root for WSU because we are not a mid-major despite what the analysts say.

All of the different Valley schools have their redeeming qualities.

I like ace dads argument for the Aces as an underdog. If you want to root for the best program year in and year out that would be Creighton. And their fans in general are very classy.

Go with SIU or Bradley. It's not bandwagoning because they suck but Barry Hinson and Geno Ford will have them both competing in the top half of the Valley in a few years. If you want to stick with a team it'll be more satisfying to follow SIU/Bradley while they suck and then watching them accomplish something. They both have proven they can be a fun program when they're good, too.

The Evansville Purple Aces have two players from Texas on their roster. Ned Cox is from San Antonio (Judson) and Jordan Jahr (Lake Travis) is from Austin. What better team to root for than one with two Texans playing on it?

If you want to root for a team that's going to set a new conference RPI record this year, root for the Missouri State Bears.
USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll Conference Breakdown:

MVC: 1
WCC: 1
Atlantic Ten: 1
MWC: 1
Big East: 1

The Big East is Big Time.

The Purple Aces were pleased to beat UTSA a couple of seasons ago. Not sure if that makes you like or dislike the Aces...

Hmmm, if Texans on the team is the lynchpin, CU has Austin Chatman, Geoff Groselle and Nevin Johnson. Two frosh and a soph so Texas will be well represented for years to come.

No need to root for Illinois State.

Our former Coach left for SMU and took our stud Freshman PG with him. :Bam:

Good luck in your search for an MVC team.

As a Jays fan, I'm not going to urge you to root for Creighton. I urge you to root for SIU...they need all the moral support they can get to get their program back on track. The Valley race is more fun when SIU is good
