Because Las Vegas listed them as an underdog. UE was a 4 pt favorite.

This is one more game that will prepare the Aces for conference play. A couple upsets over the top half and the Aces can notch another successful season.

Looks similar to the Illinois State debacle a few days ago - big early lead that translated to a big loss.. AT HOME.

Tack this one into the MV column. At least they "hung" with Murray on their home court for a while. The Aces are setting themselves up for a great Valley run.

WCC: 1
Atlantic Ten: 1
MWC: 1

Does anyone have a breakout on Lowery's W/L record before the weight loss as compared to after? I'm asking this only because Marty shed pounds as well and if there is a correlation to wins with a fat coach as opposed to wins after a fat coach loses weight, Aces fans need to start buying Simmons daily breakfasts at the Waffle House.

ISU had a double-digit second half lead. Evansville's largest lead in the 2nd half was 5 (I think, didn't check the scorebook)

The large lead at the start of the game was largely because they looked like Da Bears - couldn't hit the wide side of Evansville's famous BBQ Shack, and weren't seriously playing defense.

I take it you didn't watch the webcast. If you did, you'd see that Simmons has ballooned up nicely since last year.

Baller, I agree I think UE will have a nice run in the Valley. Time will tell.

This will upset many here but Murray is the most athletic team we will play all year and might be the best team we play all year.

Now that our at large bubble has burst. As a UE fan, I should hope we go 0-18 so not to ruin the other Valley teams chances of berth in NCAA. The well being of the other schools that I could care less about is more important then the school I cheer for.

I severely doubt it.

More importantly, it wasn't Murray's athleticism that beat the Aces; it was the big guy with the huge fro. UE's lack of a post game is a weak spot that teams will be sure to exploit.
