Second, my eyes tell me Creighton is a lock. They are the best team in the Valley...period!! They will win the conference and will be the favorites in St. Louis although anything can happen in a tournament.

Yes, I think if WSU will have some slip ups that will require them to go deep in St. Louis. I could be wrong about this but just my opinion.

Then I take it you must think Wichita is a lock for the NCAA since you got so bent out of shape about me saying Creighton was. If you are so hurt by that, will you go on record saying they are a lock? I don't think you have it in you to make that prediction. At least I gave mine.

Finally, some of you Shocker faithful get upset must not read the entire post. I said Wichita will get a bid.

First off, the Baller thing was funny the first time. After the 1000th time, it sort of got stale. But go ahead and inflate egos.

So you used the "eye test" on Creighton? lol. Thanks Mr. Bilas. You sure showed me with my resume comparison of the two. Nice rebuttal. "I think Creighton is a lock because they are the best team period and I saw them with my eyes". Very astute.

You shouldn't take anything from me. I never said either team was a lock. I was just humored for your "locking" of one team over another. Your reasoning behind it was even more laughable. But again, you're just doing it because some WSU fans are going hard after Evansville and now you want to "dig" them. I get it. It's very cute. On a sidenote, other fans are also piling on Evansville (and deservedly so).

Creighton has already "slipped up" but they get a pass. You think WSU is going to have slip ups and needs STL to get them in. Again, fascinating logic. WSU may indeed slip up. But I thought we were talking about the current time? Oh wait, that hurts your case.

No one is hurt by your opinion. You're right. It's a meaningless opinion and I'm sure if you were a betting man, you'd maybe admit you've been wrong more times than not. I'm just guessing? I just get a good laugh at your basketball logic. It's certainly not the best I've ever seen on an internet message board before.

There is no way the Bears win two games in league play.

Honestly though, outside of the records, the order seems pretty accurate on how things may go down. If I had to make a switch, it'd probably be Evansville and Southern Illinois.

BJ ain't going 17-1....... LMAO

For a team to have that kind of dominance in a league they have to be very solid defensively. BJ is going to have a few boo boos and I don't think there's a chance in hell they take two from us.

They run a couple of their "star" players pretty hard so I would expect legs to be tired towards the end of conference grind. That is the big advantage for WSU, we are so deep that player minutes are going to be constantly changing as the season progress. Also, Nick Wiggins is going to come into his own eventually and he should be a scoring machine for us. He has the potential to be just as impressive as Cle' Early.

First of all, there is no such thing as a lock at this point in the season.

Secondly, the main difference between WSU and CU at this point is Strength of Schedule. CU's is presently 55, while WSu's is almost double that at 103.

Baller, are we going to admit now that you are indeed Baller? The same person that would slam several posters about changing screen names? Kind of funny what comes around...

This poll is not based on current situation. It says how many bids will we get. Again, not sure why Shocker faithful gets so uptight over one persons opinon. Not to mention, I said they would get in.
Creighton is better then Wichita right now. Creighton, your words not mine, Creighton has the pedigree and history not to mention an All American canidate that will help their case.

Instead of piling on one persons opinion, maybe you should try to answer the question then you have that right to talk about someone elses post. It is funny, that some don't want to make a guess in the fear of being wrong. They will just critique everyone else's opinion.

Barring injuries, there are locks at this point. IU lock. Louisville lock. Creighton lock.

Can we dispense with the talk of locks? It is tiresome. Now if posters want to "crown 'em", well I'm all for that.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

No locks. We get zero bids. Mo St wins St Louis but NCAA won't take them in the tournament.

FIrst of all, you're right, nobody is a lock but it doesn't take a genius to project just a little. Kind of like UNI where it's possible they could win their next 6 games and be right in the mix but it seems less than likely that will actually happen when you consider their performance to date.

Second, your main difference is now moot. It's 92-75, the difference of which is negligible, and the main difference was and still is WSU is undefeated with a high quality road win and CU isn't with a mediocre home loss and a best win against, Wisconsin I guess? While I fully expect CU to be in the dance with a decent seed (and deservedly so) I wouldn't lose at Cal if I were you. At least you are likely to get a decent BB matchup but losing at Cal would make the BlueJay non-con a bubble-ish like resume if you ask me.
