Creighton gets a win at Cal. McDermott with 34 points. That will look good on the resume come March.

Creighton did a great job on both of them. Terrible job rebounding. Creighton is missing Josh Jones.

Two total bench points (Wragge w/2 FT's near the end) by the whole team. This team finds different ways to win.

Looking ahead a bit, with a win against Tulsa, will this be CU's best non-con ever?

Alot of NBA scouts at the game. Doug playing really well, I hope he stays next year....

"The game attracted more than a dozen NBA scouts, with 15 NBA personnel credentialed in all. General managers Bob Myers of the Golden State Warriors, Dell Demps from the New Orleans Hornets and Oklahoma City Thunder's Sam Presti attended."

I'm gonna get sacrilegious for a moment, and yes the cervezas are flowing, but it seems like Doug McDermott is the second coming of Larry Bird to the MVC. Gonna step back now and drink some water. :bounce:

Here are some reasons to admire Dougie as follows:

Game points scored by Dougie in Cal game - 45.9% of team points.

Season starter points scored by Dougie - 43.6% of points scored by starters.

Season team points scored by Dougie - 29.8% of points scored by all team members.

Games scored 30 or more points - 3

Games scored 25 or more points - 5

Games scored 20 or more points - 9

Games scored less than 20 points - 2 (17 points and 5 points)

Note: Regarding only 5 point game. Even Michael Jordan can have off games. Once he only scored 6 points in an NBA game. So I imagine the Blue Birds fans forgave him.

Tell me again why the Blue Bird team is not a one man team.

UNI can only say, "What if."
