How Many MVC teams Dance

With The Jays and Shockers in top 25 (Shockers likely will drop out, Butler in) does anyone else in the valley get a bid. I think UNI has been a HUGE disapointment they're only quality won is at G.Mason. ISU is 7-3 with losses vs Nwestern, LOU, and WYO, and quality wins being at Drexel (huge disapointment) and UAB. I think were at least 2 probaly 3 teams.

This is a one-bid, maybe two league right now. One if CU wins the conference tournament, two if someone else wins the conference tournament.

2 bids assuming WSU can play well w/o Hall. 3 if someone other than WSU/CU win in St. Louis.

Wichita State is in as long as they can get through this Carl Hall mess and don't implode during conference play. WSU can lose 6 more games and they're still in. Even with the Carl Hall injury I like our chances.

I think CU, and WICH get at larges and ISU wins tourney. But ISU could get an atlarge but for them they need to win at Dayton wednesday. Don't have many quality wins and then in MVC play need at least 2 of the 4 WICH-CU games and then go about 10-2 vs other teams.

If you're going to throw "right now" in there, I don't see why WSU still isn't considered an at-large team? The Tennessee road loss magically makes them an NIT team? They still have the league's best RPI (at least as of Saturday night), have a couple quality wins, and are 9-1.

So if we go with "right now", this is a 2 bid, maybe 3 bid league.
USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll Conference Breakdown:

MVC: 1
WCC: 1
Atlantic Ten: 1
MWC: 1
Big East: 1

The Big East is Big Time.

The loss to Tennessee didn't hurt. Six weeks without Carl Hall will, unless I underestimate what HCGM has up his sleeve. I would estimate three or four losses in the first 10 MVC games on WSU's schedule, if Hall is out that long.

RB23, dude, are you for real? I'm guessing about 14 years old.

ISUr has zero chance of an at large short of just about running the league. Drexel and UAB are mediocre to dreadful. There are no good wins in that schedule yet.

And the McDermott thread often invites karma falling on your best player...and F U from Creighton fans.

HCGM has had Wiggins and Lufile on short leashes - I think he's trying to break some bad juco tendencies that they might get by with some teams, but good teams will exploit. He will have to take their leashes off now. What they are totally capable of is not quite known yet - but it is not the end of the world with Hall out.

Or, as a Shocker fan threw out in the other thread, its Jackie Carmichael and he not so cleverly switched the order of the numbers on his uni when selecting his screen name.
