Uh, the Bears are now down by double digits. Has a Valley school ever lost to a SWAC school before?

SIU lost to Mississippi Valley State decades ago - the media guide doesn't list the year, but the last meeting between the two teams was 1985.
MSU lost twice to Mississippi Valley State in 1982-83 (this was the year MSU became a D1 program, and before they joined the MVC)

Drake also lost to Mississippi Valley State in 2000.

Bradley and Evansville have never lost to a SWAC team. Have not checked the other five schools in the MVC.

Oh don't worry, SWOMO will get it together one night this year and it will be against us. Everybody always gets up for the Shockers. Several years ago we were top 3 or so in the Valley and gave Drake one of its only wins that year.
