Drake vs NC Central 12/19

Bulldogs have played poorly 3 games in a row. Winning tonight is not enough....they need to play well.

9-10 inches of snow predicted in Des Moines; I imagine it will be a very small crowd, even by Drake standards.

My kids are already sledding in the backyard! I replaced a broken shearpin in my snowblower and am going to the Creighton game.

I bought cigarettes and gin, so I have my provisions stocked up and am ready to go!

DU wins this one. NC Central had a couple of opportunties in the last 30 seconds and couldn't hit.

Dogs struggled again. thankfully it was a win.

weak home efforts against mediocre opponents doesn't inspire confidence for the conference season.

.500 record will be tough for the dogs.

Lucky to win the game. NCC was better than I expected, but Drake made them look a lot better than they really are. Drake shot well from 3 and from the line and still was lucky to come away with the victory. Does not give me much confidence for conference play.

Drake is a very long shot to avoid the bottom four. I like a lot of the individual elements, but the overall product just isn't there. Barring a major turnaround in conference season, I don't imagine they'll win more than 6 games.
