6'2" Tekele Cotton held 6'8" Simons to a season-low 8 points, limiting him to 6 shots. I'm taking Cotton to matchup against Dougie in a couple of weeks. A great follow-up effort to the blanket he laid over UNI's Mark Sonnen Monday night.

Another poor performance by the Bulldogs, especially the upperclassmen. Got nothing at all from the seniors. If the freshmen hadn't stepped up, would have been really ugly.

Good job by WSU. They knew Drake's offense better than Drake's players did.

Shox are a good team with great potential. Drake players need to watch Cotton play defense, he definitely understands his role. Congrats to the Shox, lots of talent, great future.

Drake's turnover woes continue in MVC play, will be a very long season unless the dogs learn to value the ball.

Hopefully this is the last year for SHC at Drake as the overpaid cheerleader.

I think play by play announcer Mike Kennedy said it is the second best 3 point performance.

Pretty much ties for best shooting night from 3pt this year. They shot 12-24 against Northern Colorado. Other than that they have been 35% or less.

It's a shame Early had so many quick fouls. He was really feeling it. I think he new that Clarke was going to have a tough time guarding him on the perimeter. He looked real good shooting those 3-pointers tonight.
