I think Illinois State was seriously being overvalued going into the year, given the situation. They lost their head coach and a rising star point guard. This coming off a season where they only finished 9-9 in the Valley bottleneck. All of that considered, that Valley Tournament championship game appearance greatly enhanced their preseason "resume". Still, even after all of that, I'd figure them to be at least Top 4.

MSU turning out to be the New Evansville. A 280 RPI team is now alone in 3rd with a 3-1 record. That looks horrible beyond words to the outsiders.

If there is one poster that I could have think of that would garnered this type of defense, you would be it. Does the NCAA selection committee count games as "2 seasons"? Are they dumb***es too?

Wow, what a tale of two seasons for MSU. Kind of a nightmare scenario for the MVC. I simply cannot fathom a three-bid opportunity whatsoever.

Screw the NCAA Selection Committee. I love a good underdog basketball story and the Bears are it. If a MVC team cannot beat the Bears, than maybe they do not deserve an at large bid.
