A: You would have to ask my mom that. I’ve never gotten to it. It is what it is. It’s unique. Until yesterday, I thought I was the only guy with the name Cleanthony. Some guy hit me up on Instagram. I put up a picture of me dunking, and he was like “Do it for the Cleanthonys.” People call me Cle. They call me Anthony. They call me everything.

In some ways CLE did it to himself in that game he was in foul trouble (fouled out with only 17 minutes). in nonconference he showed he could score, but he was always seem to limit his play because he would pick up some silly fouls. It seems that he has made an adjustment in conference play and is fouling less thus getting more playing time.

Some have made aspersions toward Cle's majesty due to his performance against Tennessee. Let me remind those that question his talents that there is a learning curve for Juco players as they transition from their division's style of play to ours. Cle' is way ahead of that curve now and is not the same player he was when we lost at Tennessee. All the injuries our team has suffered have been invaluable to speeding up his development. Remember, he was on our SECOND STRING before the injuries. How unbelievable is that?
