Game isn't played on the computer.

It's played on the court:

Evansville 71
Wichita State 67
FINAL

Don't worry, you will beat them in Wichita.

Again, not even my point. I didn't even try to make the point you are trying to argue against until someone made that assertion (which is illogical). Please try not to an invent arguments for me.

1. I never made an excuse for Wichita State.
2. I never argued that Evansville was a bad team (in fact, the basis of my argument is on perception, not ability)
3. I never argued that Evansville did not win

However, the end of result of that game does not mean Evansville is better than Wichita State. It means they were better for one game, and that they were better that day. That is not what I've tried to argue. If you insist on saying that they are better based on the result of that game, you ignore the rest of the team's body of work.

That is NOT the way to evaluate teams. It does not make sense. If it were true, I could make the argument that Radford is better than Duke, because Radford beat Citadel, who beat VMI, who beat Elon, who beat Florida Atlandic, who beat Arkansas State, who beat Western Kentucky, who beat DePaul, who beat Arizona State, who beat Arkansas, who beat Oklahoma State, who beat NCState, who beat Duke. Therefore, Radford > Duke.

Basketball does not work that way.

My post wasnt just aimed at you bud. It was aimed at the whole thread of posts. True , the best team doesnt always win. But at this point its all we have to go on. I was just speaking my mind and not going into detail. But now i will . I know wichita beat VCU on the road but what is the second best team yall have played?? And yet everyone is like Its a 2 team race? I really think AT THIS POINT Evansville is just as good, when WSU gets healthy its a different story.

The ACES are the only team, in The VALLEY, that has a victory against a ESPN (AP) top 25 ranked team.

SHOX hasn't faced a top 25 team yet.
Jays have played one, in the USA TODAY rankings.

That will change next Monday when Wisconsin jumps back into the top 25, thanks to their victory over Indiana tonight.

VCU not a Top 25 team?

Not a well-executed first post.

Im guessing he was referring to beating a team WHILE they are ranked in the top 25, which doesn't really even matter if they don't stay in the top 25, insert Kentucky reference. Wichita isn't even in the top 25 anymore so technically Evansville hasn't beaten one either.

I also don't understand his statement about Creighton having PLAYED one top 25 team. Last time I checked, Boise isn't in the top 25, and we've beaten everyone else on our schedule.

Wichita beat VCU and Creighton beat Wisconsin (they'll be back in the top 25 soon enough)

If you want respect, then don't lose games you are favored to win. It's that simple. Hell, you almost lost to SIU on your home court a couple of days prior. Whine all you want about 3 starters being out but that happens to every single team. I didn't hear you whine about that when you were winning games without them and telling everyone how your team only recruits starters and has no back-up players.

Give us all a break with your nonsense. I can assure you that it won't be your last game you will lose this year to so called "inferior" competition.

Every single team loses 3 starters at once for an extended period of time? Wow, must've missed that. Didn't realize that was such a common occurance.
