Rodney Buford from Creighton played in the NBA from 1999-2005. I thought he may have been drafted too, but there isn't draft data on the NBA site.

Buford's NBA.com profile page: http://www.nba.com/historical/playerfil ... ney_buford

EDIT: Buford was drafted in the 1999 second round by Miami.

EDIT AGAIN: 3 on the way beat me...

Yes, Miller played in a few NBA games in 2006-2007 (October of that year on a 10-day contract). Wichita State hasn't had a player actually drafted since 1987, but then again the MVC in general has not had a player drafted in over half a decade (and only about 8 players between last WSU player and now).

Is "Paul" his real first name? Because if not, NBA.com does not list a single player named Paul Miller in its historical database.

So Paul Miller played three preseason games? Never an actual NBA game. I'll put the over/ under on Cleanthony's NBA career at 1 game.

Would you like to put some money behind that bet?

Arguably Mo Evans. 2001, 2004-2012.

I guarantee you Early is:

1. Drafted after his senior year
2. Plays at least until the end of his rookie contract
3. Plays more than 1 game.

There are simply reasons for this. He is taller than the majority of NBA small-forwards, a good enough shooter to score from that position, and athletic enough to play defense at that level. Therefore, he makes sense as a potential NBA draft pick. Whereas most other MVC players tend to lack in two to three categories (either they are undersized, slow, or both), and if they stick it is because they find a spot where a single skill can keep them employed (Korver).

Sure, loser pays to a charity of winner's choice. Since we don't know when his pro potential ends, I'll give him two years after his WSU eligibility. $20- deal?

Its embarrassing that some WSU fans continue to bring Maurice Evans into this argument.

Why not? He played at a MVC university, and then left. It isn't like he never played at Wichita State.
