CKA is by far the best venue in the MVC to watch a game live, but it is absolutely terrible on TV. The low angle is terribly annoying.

WSU cannot handle Echinique inside (obviously most teams can't). Creighton cannot handle Carl Hall (or even get a defensive rebound) when Echinique is out of the game. He is the key to this game.

I think the angle makes it feel more like you're at the game, with pretty good seats.

Our eyes don't see like a telephoto lens does.

Without going into a lot of technical details, it all boils down to compression. Low angle on a tele lens makes the players seem closer together than they really are. Everything seems scrunched up and it's impossible to see the spacing on the floor. This compression is only combated by increasing the angle and giving more of an over head/birds eye view of the floor.

Believe me. It looks bad. Switch back and forth between this game and the Louisville/Syracuse game. The difference is night and day.
