Without going into a lot of technical details, it all boils down to compression. Low angle on a tele lens makes the players seem closer together than they really are. Everything seems scrunched up and it's impossible to see the spacing on the floor. This compression is only combated by increasing the angle and giving more of an over head/birds eye view of the floor.

Believe me. It looks bad. Switch back and forth between this game and the Louisville/Syracuse game. The difference is night and day.

Just a thought, don't watch.

I like being able to see the players faces.

GREAT GAME - It could have easily gone either way. Doug is for real and so are the BJ's. Looking forward to the rematch

I'm envisioning sweet sixteen runs by both CU and WSU. Don't let me down fellas! :buddies:

Wow what a game! Carl Hall is an impressive college basketball player to say the least. Jays had a couple chances to send this game to OT, but Wragge unfortunately could not connect. No Shame for the Jays losing on the road in the toughest environment in the Valley, and against what should come Monday should be a Top 25 Shocker team once again. Congrats Shockers!

Already looking forward to the game on March 2nd, that game should be yet another barn burner - especially being CU's "Senior Day." The Valley race just got a whole lot more exciting, I just hope the Jays and Shockers can each avoid any more slip-ups and set up a big battle between two "sure-fire" NCAA teams\Top 25 teams for the regular season championship at the C-Link.

I agree, both of these teams are definitely built for a run in the NCAA tournament. I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to think that both the Jays and Shockers would be highly competitive if they "were" in BCS leagues... definitely both teams are the class of the Valley on the court this season.

This year's CU team is significantly better than last season's.

WSU is only going to get better as Hall gets healthy (scary, right?) and Baker comes back.

The March rematch could easily feature the two best MVC teams in the last thirty years. Seriously.

Does this mean Creighton is all hype squared?

I wonder if Deanthony shows up??

Great basketball game, even better college basketball atmosphere. Two heavyweights duking it out. So glad we pulled it out! Considering our questionable shot selection at times and horrid free throw shooting, including missing the last 5? in a row, to still win by 3 over the No.12 team in the country says A LOT. Defense was intense.

I'm impressed with Dougie. He has a silky smooth shot. I may have to reconsider my NBA comments. I think he has a legitimate chance. Can't believe he wasn't given a shot at the end. Gibbs also impresses me. He can be a tad dirty, sneaky dirty if you will, but I'd love him on my team.

Gonna be a GREAT Saturday night in DooDah!!! Hope the Valley fans enjoyed this one!

And that's 4 out of the last 5 in the series for the Yellow and Black.. :Yea!:
