Losing 7 out of your last 8 to WSU, I can see why you'd want them out.

Playing in a conference that you can dominate (I'm assuming Shocker fans are of that belief) is the best situation to be in for developing a nationally prominent program. Would Gonzaga have had their success playing in the Pac 12? would Butler be a big deal if the Valley had accepted them instead of Evansville? I'm guessing no. If Butler had been in a better conference, like the Valley, they would have been struggling to get to .500 every year and could never have made the repeated trips to the NCAA that enabled them to flourish. Butler would be Evansville.
WSU should relish the thought of making the torunament every year.

So since I'm expecting a shitty selection, I'd cast a vote for UMKC. At least I could conceivably walk from my house to one WSU game a year.
So, in the format called for by OP:
Pros:
- Location (around a mile from my house)
- Great travel spot for visiting Valley fans (probably the best in the league)
Cons:
- Shitty
- Might as well put the whole league in a barrel, mix it with diesel, and light it all on fire.
