great win by the dogs, putrid performance by the Jays tonight in the first half, played soft, not much intensity, relied on open outside shots that weren't falling. Second half the Jays had great success in driving the ball to the hoop against the Drake matador defense, but it was too little too late in the end.

Dogs are still a Thursday night team. But on a cold frigid night in Des Moines, we handed the conference title to the Shox!

I felt like in this game CU was going to McDermott too much too early and not getting the other guys into the offensive flow.

Thanks, but hardly.

The Shocks did not exactly have its way with the Bars tonight.

I was astonished that the Blue Birds had so many personal fouls. Very uncharacteristic.

Saw Goodman tweet that Doug McDermott was throwing up at halftime. He didn't seem the same in the second half so maybe that was a factor.

There is a lot of play left but this fan appreciates the Bulldogs work. Now the Shocks have to take care of business and the Jays need to keep winning until we play in Omaha.

Go Valley!!

Go Shocks!!!!

That sucks. Always feel for people when the flu bug is going around. Seriously.

Some teams adjust though. Teams have gone into Des Moines without 3 starters and have still walked away with double-digit wins.

I guess, if Doug really wasn't 100%, this kind of proves how valuable he is to the CU lineup and maybe how one-dimensional their offense is. Just sayin.

The patented McDermott February slump started early this year.

Get used to this BJ fans. It will happen every year. Especially once Wookie and Little McMoney are gone.

Is this like playing without 3 starters for a month and losing only one game?
