Western Kentucky and Memphis both play big boy football but they would be great additions if possible.

What the heck let's ask Boise State. They won't stay long enough to even play a single game but we'd get a nice bonus when they want to break contract and leave.
[Insert snappy comeback]

Let Creighton go....they will be a little fish in a "Big Pond" after McDermott leaves...if they were smart they would use the same approach as Gonzaga..

1) Go afer Loyola of Chicago..Big City TV Market..Strong Alumni...excellent academics...Good coach with Porter Moser ex Illinois State and a new, beautiful arena full of atmosphere. Great City to have a Missouri Valley Team. Everyone would want to play here.

2) Denver University...Great private school..Lot's of money with strong Alumni base. Great TV market and their president wants to be a player....

No inside info, but I don't think Creighton is going anywhere.

Oral Roberts would be my pick. Second would be Valpo.

I hear Wichita fans say they would leave but I haven't seen where, exactly, they think they would end up.

Why are we wasting time looking at D-1 schools? We all know Elgin will try and drag up a D-II school.

Southern Indiana would get my vote, as well as Missouri State. :D
Our last five are still collectively better than your starting lineup.

I hope if CU does leave, that WSU goes too. That would force the other football playing schools hand to move up to 1A right away or risk their programs falling into compete obscurity. I think in this scenario, that the MVC would implode with Il ST, MSU, UNI and SIU finding a way to move up to FBS and Evansville, Bradley and Drake finding new homes. Not sure what might happen to Indiana State as far as football goes, but they would have a tough financial decision to make as well.
