Jays at Salukis

all of the sudden, the biggest game of the year for the Jays. I can't believe I am saying this, but a loss likely puts the Jays squarely on the bubble at the moment. I think that point will be moot and the Jays get back to their winning ways. Go Jays.

McDermott pulls them back at the end and CU only wins by 35.

Jays win 81-51. So the 35 point guess was pretty accurate.

This SIU team is exactly what I expected them to be. I am not unhappy with this season at all.

Did Gibbs really have 8 turnovers in this game? I thought he had something like a 3:1 assist to TO ratio?

good win by cu. mvc really needed this so they didn't risk falling out of the top 25 with 3 losses in a row.

Certainly a big win for the Jays, stopped the two game losing streak and with the blow out - Coach McDermott was allowed the rest the starters and key bench players for a good amount of the 2nd half. This win, coupled with a week full of upsets around college basketball, may be enough to save CU's place in the Top 25 - I expect they will tumble down 5 spots or so, but still hang on to a national ranking (thanks to a lot of other teams losing).

Going 1-2 in their three game road trip was certainly not what many Jays fans expected, but this team still has the potential to go on another run... just need some guys off the bench to step up and contribute in key situations.

CU fans might be about to find out WSU have found out in recent week - voters will hammer non-bcs teams for 1 loss and give a pass to BCS teams. Out of the 3 pollster CU has dropped to 18, NR, 25.

CU fans im sure were glad Manigat & Wragge graduated from the MIA list vs. the puppies. I would think McD would play Artino more in games like this. I understand Wragge comes in to spell GE and gives them a different look, but aren't BJ in trouble next year in the post with no experience?

Stayed in both polls. 17 in Coaches and 21 in AP. Surprised. Lots of respect for Jays and MVC as a whole.
