When that happens, upper-level "non-BCS" recruits want to play in a better conference, and good coaches want to get into a better league. Then the league is on its way to becoming the Midwest equivalent of the Southland Conference.

28-5 will get an at large bid in MVC 98% of the time.

Now? Sure. But if this conference keeps going down the same road, it might not be the case.

Mizzou St is not going to go 26-3 the rest of the way.

Conference RPI has dropped to 26 after tonight.....but there is nothing to worry about right. :Stupid:

A record of 26-7 wasn't good enough in 2009.

Just wait until the traditional 9th place MVC team, WSU, gets drilled two or three times in Maui.

actually it probably was good enough. Getting drilled by 40 points in the MVC semi's, however, was not good enough.

I'm with Aces in thinking its WAAAAAAY too early for all this "sky is falling" panic from some posters.
We're what a little over a week into the season and already the Valley is dust. BS!!!

There's still plenty more opportunity for MVC teams to shine. It wasn't like the Valley was going to have 4 teams dancing anyway right, so get a grip as there's still more games to play and you NEVER know what wiil happen (unless of course your a dead-on accurate psychic).

Let's see where the Valley's at in another few weeks before we throw the conference under the bus. And who cares that the MVC as a conference is RPI ranked a bit lower to start the season. Most b-ball junkies KNOW that the earlier RPI is basically a joke.

ENJOY your teams fans as the MVC may just have a ton of suprises yet. Now lets see some serious battle mode from ALL the Valley teams in non-con....ooooo yeah!!!

ROCK IT MVC!!!

The effort was there.
The shooting was not.
The young guys looked young.
Packed the lane, and dared us to shoot.
