Sycs need to beat Drake before they can think about the tourney. They have proven they can beat the elite. The scrubs?? (SIU, Morehead State, Illinois State) That seems to be the challenge for them.

Duh it does. Does not mean jack s*** if they cannot beat Drake this weekend though. They do not have the room for error that Creighton or Wichita does.

if we lose at Drake that will completely negate EVERYTHING we accomplished tonight towards gaining hope for an at-large bid.

Lansing needs to have this team as prepared for Drake as he did for WSU tonight. We can not lose to teams not named Creighton or WSU the rest of the way. Or I can come on here again and post "Discussion OVER! END OF THREAD, ISU has losses to 2 of the worst teams in the MVC and Morehead State, we are NOT getting an at-large bid folks, give up" once again

The new baseline for Indiana St:

7-2 with a split of the home games against Wichita and Creighton, a win in BB, and allowances for one more road loss.

Remember though - it matters as much what the teams around you do as much as what you do, so this can change based on the general landscape.
