McDermott, and it isn't even close. Don't take this as a Doug homer post.
Reality is that Colt might get grabbed and bumped around some while his defender is trying to fight threw a screen, but when CU comes to Evansville watch how much McDermott gets grabbed, pushed and generally manhandled trying to establish position down low. Its not the kind of things you can see on television, becasue by the time the he gets the ball and therefore the camera is on him, the battling for position is over. Watch the post play when the ball is moving outside and he is working for position without the ball.
Post play has become very physical. Teams are even more physical with McDermott in trying to keep him from getting position. With your average post player, even if he gets the ball in position where he wants it, a good defender has a better than 50-50 chance of still keeping him from scoring. But if you let McDermott establish position and receive the ball where he wants to get it you are pretty much toast. Therefore, defenders will push it to the very limit and beyond in keeping Doug out of spots he wants to be. By this time in Doug's career, defenders know where that is and will fight like hell to keep him from getting there.
