Or, you are one blown call away from being on a 3 game losing streak and totally out of the discussion.

Drake's RPI is up to 137, so an OT loss isn't terrible, but ISU's margin for error was pretty slim anyway.

It's gonna be interesting to see who can hang on to maintain 'quality'-looking games. Evansville has slipped to 128, Drake's at 137, Illinois State is at 145. UNI has jumped into the top 100 again with Saturday's win, not sure if they will stay there even with a win against MSU (a loss will plummet them). Creighton and Wichita are holding in the top 30 but need wins to stay there, Indiana State needs to win to get back into the top 50. A loss at home Wednesday probably does more to hurt ISU than help Creighton.

What a roller coaster. No way the Sycs recover again. I was rooting for ya.

we are OFFICIALLY OUT of ANY at large discussion. Only way to get on now is to win in St. Louis. Good god we suck when playing the bottom teams in the MVC this season. Just don't get it. No urgency in ISU, no killer instinct to win when it's absolutely necessary.

You guys have as good (or bad) of a chance of winning Arch Madness as anyone else right now, no team in this conference has been immune to bad losses this season. While the At-Large hopes pretty much faded tonight, the Trees are still capable of making a big run and getting into the Big Dance... As CU and the Shockers are far from where they were earlier this season.

true, but for ISU fans it has been unbelievably frustrating how we continually lose all of our MUST WIN games, @ SIU, @ Drake, @ Illinois State (although not so bad now), @ MSU. You're correct in that the only way ISU gets in the NCAA is by winning in St. Louis, and I suspect they may do that. They'll play up to the level of competition and probably do the same thing they did in 2011.
