Bradley Verbal - Michael Tucker, 6-6, SF, QEA Prep

Bradley got its second verbal this fall. Another prep school player.

Michael Tucker is a 6-6 wing who was 6-2 a year ago. Extremely athletic, long arms, guard skills. I do know he was the one guy Geno Ford really wanted. Of course his coach has high, high praise for the kid--they always do. Here is the story from Dave Reynolds.

Both fall commitments for BU are prep school guys and two of the four last year were prep school guys (as were D1 transfers Omari Grier and Anthony Fields who are sitting out this year). Obviously it is something Geno Ford targets.

Michael Tucker is not really flying under the radar anymore.

He had 27 pts and 10 rebounds last night vs. Wesleyan Christian Academy, the #1 team in North Carolina. There were quite a few coaches there last night. Wesleyan Christian has a junior who is one of the top players in the nation.

A few twitter messages from recruiting website guys who were at the game (for what its worth):

"Quality Education has a very good talent in Michael Tucker. A 6'7" SR that can do it all."

"Bradley got a steal in Quality Education 2013 SF Mike Tucker. Scores in different areas, rebounds out of position, and defends willingly"

I have heard Clemson and Wake Forest have been sniffing around Tucker and they were at the game last night---thankfully, so was Geno Ford.

Michael Tucker transferred back to his original high school back in Georgia. Take recruiting rankings for what they are--but according this site he is the #11 player in Georgia. Most of the top 15 except for Tucker and another guy are all going to BCS schools.
