Count me as one that is truly amazed about the current stretch the Shockers are going through. They will be lucky to get out of Carbondale with a W. I have watched the Shocks a decent number of times this year, and this is not the same team. It really is interesting that this stretch is coming when some key guys have returned from injury. Just doesn't make sense to me, but teams go through these stretches. Creighton lost three in a row around this exact time last year, yet it ended up being probably the best season a Creighton team has had. There is still hope in Shockerland.

p.s.-Early probably has the most raw talent in this league. However, i think most can now agree it was laughable when this site was discussing him as potentially the best player in the valley right now. He has a lot of learning to do, and when he does that, watch out.

WSU deserved to lose but that last sequence of officiating was beyond terrible. An obvious charge was ignored followed up with a phantom goaltend call to seal it.

Oh well. Pretty monumental collapse by this team. Playing for St. Louis at this point.

WSU came out on fire and looked like it was gonna be a rout. They played well the first 10. Not so much the last 30. SIU was doing what they do best against WSU, throwing in a lot of junk.
