Wow. Just, wow. Maybe, just maybe, this will be the kick in the teeth that wakes up a few guys on this team and makes them realize that they aren't such a lock for the tournament that they can mail it in the rest of the season. The thing is, this loss wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't laid an egg at Drake. But as it is, they have fallen into 6-8 seed territory IMO (and 6 is probably a little optimistic right now). If they lay an egg at St. Mary's and lose another conference game, they will be squarely on the bubble with a real chance of it bursting if they don't make the finals in St. Louis. They went 6-0 in the first 3rd, 3-3 in the middle. They desparately need a 6-0 finish, but with trips ahead to UNI, Evansville and Bradley still to come . . . ..

Once again, its going to be a mad scramble to the finish in the MVC.

No local tv tonight. The color guy is a familiar name to some of you. Former all conference Sycamore Matt Renn. He's also a teacher at a local high school in Terre Haute. Same high school as Gant and where Michael Menser is the AD.

Thanks, He was a homer for sure but new his stuff and always complemented a Jays player when they deserved it. All with a "folksy" accent. I enjoyed it.
