The Valley Gets Four Bids

CU, WSU, and ISU-B win the remaining games they need to win to earn an at large.

ISU-R wins the MVC tournament.

Anyway this possible or should I put the wine bottle away?

What would happen Ace Dad if the tournament finals is SIU and Illinois State and SIU wins. Or some scenario like that, I think its totally possible this year. I am sure it wont be as cut and dry as some think, look at the season.

Not likely. Somebody, probably Wichita or ISUb, gets left out in that scenario.

Certainly possible if those three teams up for at-large bids avoid further bad losses and trade wins with one another.

I would say all have pretty good resumes if they can avoid further bad losses. All three teams on top of the MVC currently have a number of wins over top 50 RPI teams, and are all top 50 RPI teams themselves.

Gotta avoid losses to teams that aren't each other, and win their Bracket Buster games.

Mid-40's RPI is not where you want to be. Especially when your conference is ranked 9th.

You are right, based on the number of automatic bids based on conference tournaments.

Lunardi has all 3 in, with none of them in the at-large play-in games per Sportscenter just now.

Conference rankings make no difference. Throw that out. Mid-40 RPI's make it all the time. There are enough good wins and not a TON of horrible losses among the top 3. With how weak the whole NCAA is, that is good enough this year. As long as the top 3 avoid any more "bad losses" all 3 have a good shot.

Lot of time for all 3 teams to be mid 30s or higher.
