Illinois State just gave up 86 points to Drake. That doesn't bode too well when you're playing one of the highest scoring teams in the country.

I have a hard time believing the Redbirds can be competitive in this one. The Braves used penetration to score up the Birds in the paint while the Bulldogs lit them up from outside. BJs can score in the paint and beyond the arc, can't forsee Birds slowing down this motivated CU team.

This one will be ugly. the Jays by 20+.

Great game plan and win IlSt. You defended the perimeter very well. I would have felt bad for Wilkins if CU would have forced OT on a good sportsmanship play. I'm starting to think that Creighton should rethink this conference move. I mean if they can't hold serve up two games in the Missouri Valley how are they going to compete against the likes of Georgetown and Villanova in the new C7 league. Why didn't back-up pg Yates play tonight? This seemed like the type of game where he could have had an impact.
